From One Outsourced Hire to a Five-Person Team: A Five-Year Growth Story

Five years ago, the owner of an Australian property investment business was at an important stage of growth. He understood marketing, had built his business around it, and knew where he wanted to take the company. The challenge was having enough time and people to turn that vision into reality.

He found Farche Solutions through social media and decided to start small: outsource his first role to Farche — a Digital Marketing Specialist.

What happened over the next five years was gradual. As the business grew and new needs emerged, he continued to outsource additional roles through Farche Solutions.

Year 1 — Outsourcing Marketing

The first Farche hire was a Digital Marketing Specialist.

Because the owner already had a strong marketing background, they worked closely together. The owner brought the strategy, ideas and direction; his outsourced Farche specialist helped turn those ideas into consistent daily execution.

That meant keeping the company’s social channels active, creating daily posts, producing videos and graphics, developing content, supporting campaigns and making sure marketing didn’t stop when the owner got busy with everything else.

It became less about simply outsourcing marketing and more about having someone he could work alongside every day.

Year 2 — Outsourcing Administration

As the business grew, so did the workload.

The client outsourced his second person through Farche: an Administrative Assistant based in the south of the Philippines.

The role took care of the growing volume of day-to-day administration, organisation and support work.

For the owner, the benefit was simple but significant: he didn’t have to be involved in every small task anymore.

He had more time for clients, sales, decisions and actually running the business.

Year 3 — More Leads, More Enquiries

By year three, the business had another problem: more opportunities were coming in.

The client outsourced additional support through Farche across lead generation, administration and inbound enquiries.

The team could find and qualify prospects, follow up leads, answer calls and handle enquiries while the owner and his Australian team focused on converting opportunities and serving clients.

Communication was particularly important for the inbound role. Farche team members go through Australianisation training, helping them understand Australian culture, communication styles and workplace expectations before working with Australian businesses and their customers.

That meant the people answering the phone weren’t simply capable of completing a task. They were prepared to represent the business properly.

Year 4 — A Team He Could Rely On

By the fourth year, outsourcing had become part of how the business operated.

The company had grown by approximately 70% from where it started, while lead volume had increased by around 60%.

The value wasn’t simply the cost difference between outsourcing and hiring locally. The bigger benefit was capacity: more people handling more of the work meant the owner could spend more time on the work only he could do.

Year 5 — IT, Systems & Security

As the business grew, so did its reliance on technology.

More people, more systems and more business information meant IT and security became increasingly important. The owner needed someone who could help keep the company’s systems running properly and support the team as its technology needs became more complex.

So he outsourced another role through Farche: an IT Specialist.

Farche was able to provide that support with an understanding of the importance of information security — particularly as Farche Solutions is ISO 27001 certified.

That brought the client’s dedicated Filipino team to five people.

Marketing. Administration. Lead generation. Inbound enquiries. IT.

And all five work remotely from home.

That’s one of the strengths of Farche’s model. The Philippines isn’t limited to one city or one talent pool. With skilled professionals spread across the country’s many islands, Farche can source the right person for the role without restricting the search to a single location.

Five Years Later

What started with one outsourced Digital Marketing Specialist became a five-person team supporting the business across multiple functions.

The client has since recommended Farche to another Australian business owner in his network. That business is now building its own outsourced team with Farche.

For the client, that recommendation came after five years of seeing the model work firsthand — starting with one person, gradually adding the right people as the business needed them, and watching those people become part of the way the company operates.

One outsourced role became five. And five years later, the team is still growing alongside the business.
