Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical accounting research and prepare memos for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP
- Manage equity accounting, including stock options, RSUs, warrants, and other stock-based compensation (ASC 718)
- Record and reconcile equity transactions (grants, exercises, modifications, cancellations)
- Calculate and book monthly stock-based compensation expense
- Maintain cap table and support 409A valuations
- Assist with monthly and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare GAAP financial statements and related disclosures
- Support external audits, fundraising, and investor due diligence
- Help build scalable accounting processes in a fast-growing startup
