Project and task management
- Turn briefs and high-level ideas into clear, scoped tasks for developers and designers
- Ensure every task is fully defined before work begins – no ambiguity handed to the team
- Manage the full workflow: Design → Development → QA → Delivery
- Keep multiple projects moving simultaneously without dropping the ball
Design QA
- Review finished design work and built pages with a genuine eye for quality
- Spot spacing inconsistencies, font hierarchy issues, colour mismatches, and off-brand elements
- Understand the difference between “technically built” and “looks right” – and enforce the latter
- Provide specific, actionable feedback that doesn’t require the CEO to interpret
WordPress and technical QA
- Review completed WordPress pages and sites before they go live
- Check responsiveness across breakpoints, layout integrity, form functionality, load behaviour, and plugin conflicts
- Identify issues that aren’t obvious – broken padding on mobile, slow loading sections, widgets not inheriting styles
- Understand enough about WordPress and Elementor under the hood to have an informed conversation with a developer
Communication and workflow
- Act as the single coordination point between the developer and designer
- Give clear status updates – no vague progress reports
- Flag issues early; don’t let problems compound
- Reduce CEO involvement in daily operations to near zero
WHAT YOU MUST BRING
- Proven experience managing web projects in a digital agency environment
- Deep, practical WordPress knowledge – you’ve built or managed enough sites to know what breaks and why
- Strong working knowledge of Elementor – not just “I’ve used it” but genuine hands-on familiarity
- A trained eye for design – you can look at a page and tell if something is visually off, even if you can’t build it yourself
- Meticulous attention to detail – this is the most important trait in this role
- Strong written English – clear, concise, professional
- Self-directed – you identify what needs doing without being told
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Asana, Slack, or Google Workspace
- Understanding of page speed, caching, and performance basics
- Experience managing sites on cPanel/WHM hosting environments
- Familiarity with Cloudflare or DNS management
